Bosco and his team were in the bustling mall, a vibrant hub of activity with its gleaming floors and the hum of chatter echoing through the air. As usual, Ramduth, Biscuit, and Malini morphed into three lively girls, their laughter blending seamlessly with the mall’s lively ambiance. The third floor, adorned with colorful storefronts and twinkling lights, was a spectacle of modern retail wonder.
As they strolled along, Bosco’s keen eyes caught sight of his old schoolmate, Peter Tuppence. Peter, now a librarian, walked hand in hand with his daughter Rose, a bright-eyed five-year-old with a curious gaze. Peter had always been a proud man, never one to accept charity, even during life’s significant milestones like birthdays and graduations.
Bosco felt a surge of nostalgia and a desire to reconnect. He envisioned inviting Peter and Rose to the food court, renowned for its mouth-watering delicacies that could tempt even the most discerning palate. He imagined Rose delighting in the company of his three girls, their laughter and joy mingling together.
Through his yogic vision, Bosco sensed that Peter had mellowed over the years, becoming more open to social interactions. With a subtle grace, Bosco trailed them, ensuring he remained unseen.
As Peter and Rose meandered past the famous toy store, its windows filled with enchanting displays, Rose’s eyes lit up. She tugged at Peter’s sleeve, her excitement palpable. Peter’s heart raced, his mind clouded with worry about how he could afford the doll Rose had set her heart on—a beautiful doll with a psyche knot on its head.
Peter reluctantly pulled out his credit card, hoping for a miracle. The clerk swiped it and, with a sympathetic look, informed him, “Sir, your card was rejected.” Peter’s face flushed with embarrassment as he handed over a second card, only to receive the same disheartening response. Rose’s disappointment was growing, her eyes beginning to well with tears.
In a moment of desperation, Peter reached into his trouser pockets, intending to show Rose that he had no money by pulling the pockets inside out. To his astonishment, twenty ten-dollar bills tumbled out, fluttering to the ground like leaves in the wind. Rose’s eyes sparkled with joy as she scooped up the bills, her spirits soaring.
Peter stood in stunned disbelief, wondering how he could have forgotten about the cash. At that precise moment, Bosco, hidden in the crowd, allowed himself a self-satisfying smile. Rose got the doll she had longed for, her happiness radiating like sunshine. As they exited the shop, the mall seemed to glow a little brighter, the air filled with a sense of magic and possibility.
Rose got the doll she wanted, her face beaming with joy as they exited the shop. The mall’s vibrant energy seemed to amplify her happiness, the lights twinkling like stars in her eyes. Bosco and the three girls, now in their lively forms, crossed paths with Peter and Rose.
Bosco called out Peter’s name, his voice warm and welcoming. With a big smile, he shook Peter’s hand and exclaimed, “This must be your daughter. How lucky you are!”
Peter’s mind momentarily drifted back to his school days, filled with thoughts of deprivation, humiliation, and dependency. But Bosco, with his yogic prowess, swiftly blotted out those negative thoughts, replacing them with a sense of calm and positivity.
Cheered up by the successful purchase for his daughter, Peter felt a surge of generosity. He invited Bosco and the team for a bite to eat at the food court, a place renowned for its culinary delights. The aroma of various cuisines filled the air, making their mouths water in anticipation.
Peter felt a newfound sense of wealth, not from money, but from the joy of giving. He was the host, and this feeling brought him immense joy. They took a whole table for themselves, the chatter and laughter creating a bubble of happiness around them. Peter rubbed his hands vigorously and declared, “The treat is on me. I am starving.”
They all had a wonderful time, the food court buzzing with life around them. Bosco ensured that their conversation was filled with happy memories, reminiscing about Peter’s high academic achievements and his knack for playing cards. The atmosphere was light and filled with laughter, the perfect setting for rekindling old friendships.
After finishing their meal, they headed to the children’s ride area. The colorful rides and the sound of children’s laughter created a magical atmosphere. Rose’s excitement was contagious, and soon everyone was joining in the fun. Bosco and Peter talked a lot, catching up on events since their school graduation, their bond growing stronger with each shared memory.
The day ended with smiles and a sense of fulfillment, the mall’s lights dimming as they made their way out, but the warmth of their reunion glowing brightly in their hearts.
